What is Alchemy?

Alchemy is a way of strengthening your equipment by using specific items. We will discuss these topics later in this guide! Alchemy also helps you grow stronger and increase your IP (item points).

First of all, to increase your chances of success in alchemy, you can use the following items: Also, once you reach Level 10 and 20 in job leagues, you can purchase 1% and 2% luck hats.

Items that add extra probabilites Percentage
Avatar Dress 1%-4% increase (it depends on how much you put)
Premium Gold Time PLUS Alchemy probability 10% increase & Lucky 5% increase.
Lucky Stone 1% increase.
Lucky Powder 1% increase.
Lucky Magic Powder (LMP) 2% increase.
Lucky Hat  1% to 2% increase.

Lucky Hat can be obtained from Trader Shop/Thief Shop. For the one with 1% lucky increase you need job level 10 and 50m gold. For the 2% lucky incease you need job level 20 and 100m gold.

To open the main window for Alchemy, you must press the "Y" key.

Pluses

To start this procedure, we have to open the alchemy window (“Y” key). For each type of equipment, we have specific elixirs: Weapon, Armor, Accesory, Shield.

The item and elixir are placed in the alchemy window, as shown below.

The table below shows the success rates for each plus.

I'll swiftly go over Lucky Powder, which increases your chances of success when you make pluses. If the item is successful, the box will flash; otherwise, a black cloud will appear in the box. When it comes to powders, we can also mention LMP (Lucky Magic Powder), which is far "luckier" than the standard one.

When the item reaches +5, we must consider additional Magic Stones, including the Lucky Stone, Steady Stone, Astral Stone, and Immortal Stone.

Lucky Stone: with this attribute have a higher chance in succeeding while enchanting. (all items)

Steady Stone: prevents the decrease of item’s durability when it fails (all item, except accessory)

Astral Stone: prevents the enchant level from being reset (it goes back to +5, working for all items)

Immortal Stone: prevents the item from being destroyed when it fails. (all items)

All of the above, including stones and powders, can be purchased at any grocery store in Alexandria (Steady & Lucky) or Item Mall/Players (Immortal and Astral). They can also be obtained through the Daily Quest, and LMP can be dropped at FGW.

Note: It is important to remember that Lucky Dress and Premium Plus are extremely useful during alchemy.

Stones (Magic Stones + Attribute Stones)

To summarize, Magic Stones add blue lines to items, while Attribute Stones change the statuses (%) of each attribute of the item. I'll give them a brief presentation about each individual stone:

Magic Stones:

Magic Stone of STR: grand STR (for all items)

Magic Stone of INT: grant INT (for all items)

Magic Stone of Master: grant Durability (for weapon, shield and armor)

Magic Stone of Strikes: grant Atack Rate (for weapon)

Magic Stone of Discipline: grant Blocking Parry Ratio (for weapon)

Magic Stone of Penetration: grant Crital Parry Ratio (for shield)

Magic Stone of Magic: increase MP (for head, chest and legs)

Magic Stone of Stamina: increase HP (for head, chest and legs)

Magic Stone of Fire: grant Burn Resistance (for accessory)

Magic Stone of Revival: grant Zombie Resistance (for accessory)

Magic Stone of Air: grant Electic Shock Resistance (for accessory)

Magic Stone of Fogs: grant Ice Resistance (for accessory)

After each attempt, the attribute is reset and replaced with a new value, the percentage of which is shown in brackets. It should be noted that these stones are unable to be allocated to an item with wheels on it. You can also add Alchemy Catalyst to these stones for a 100% chance of establishing them.

Here's how to use Magic Stones.

Attribute Stones:

Attribute stone of courage: physical attack (for weapon)

Attribute stone of philosophy: magical attack (for weapon)

Attribute stone of challenge: critical (for weapon)

Attribute stone of focus: attack rate (for weapon)

After each attempt, the attribute is reset and a new value is obtained, the percentage of which is shown in brackets. You can also use Alchemy Catalyst on these stones to give them a 100% chance of being allocated.

The following instructions will show you how to use Attribute Stones.

Wheels

Wheels replace Magic Stones; however, it should be noted that Magic Stones cannot be added to an item with wheels.

This chapter of Wheels is presented in another guide created by Luminescence; I will provide a link below:

*Click for Wheels Guide*

Awaken Stones

Awaken stones that upgrade from one rank to another, such as Seal of Moon to Seal of Sun, after success. To access the Awaken window, open the Alchemy window and select the "Upgraded" tab.

These are also organized into categories: weapon, armor, accessory, and shield.

Below is a demonstration of how it works.

Socket Stones

We have a deep appreciation for Socket Stones and the exciting gameplay strategies and opportunities they bring. Being a 110 CAP server adds even more incentive for us to seamlessly incorporate them into the game while honoring the essence of this CAP's origins. Nevertheless, this time, we're opting for a more simple version of this system.

1. To begin, you need to open slots on your item (max 3). To do this, you must purchase Magic Stone of Sockets from Grocery NPC for gold. Then open the alchemy window, go to Socket Alchemy, place the item you wish to open a slot on and click make Socket.

2. Select the Socket Stone you wish to insert into the item and drag it into one of the opened slots.

Remember when attaching Socket Stones they have chances to be attached as a random level, the higher the level the more stats the stone gives! Of course, higher levels are harder to get and will require many tries!

Removing Sockets.

To remove a socket stone, simply open the alchemy window, go to socket alchemy and then drag the item you wish to remove a socket from inside. Click Remove Socket and then select the socket you wish to have removed.

You need to have destroction rondos available in your inventory in order for the socket stone removal to work, so make sure you're carrying some before trying!

Purchasing Socket Stones.

You can purchase all Sockets Stones from Hotan’s Valuables Dealers NPC for Copper Coins & gold.

Copper Coins

You can obtain them through:

  • Holy Water Temple

Available Socket Stones (depending on the Socket level, the values change)

  • Socket Stone of Stamina: Maximum HP 50% increase (for weapon)
  • Socket Stone of Liberation: Stun & Restriction Series Treat [ Cure rate x% ](for weapon)
  • Socket Stone of Rapidity: Parry rate x% increase (for chest)
  • Socket Stone of Concentration: Attack rate x% increase (for weapon)
  • Socket Stone of Mental Power: Chance of not consuming MP x% increase (for weapon)
  • Socket Stone of Lethality: Critical x% increase (for weapon)
  • Socket Stone of Recovery: HP x% Recovery (for weapon)
  • Socket Stone of Eruption: Knock-Back probability x% increase (for weapon)
  • Socket Stone of Magic Power: Maximum MP 50% increase (for chest)
  • Socket Stone of Phantom: Berserker Time increase by x seconds (for chest)
  • Socket Stone of Speed Walk: Moving Distance x.x m (for chest)

*This stone can greatly contribute to the further balancing of the builds giving great mobility to those lacking it. But what if builds with already insane mobility also use it? This would kill the whole purpose! This time, we are making the dash skill of Socket Stone of Speed Walk sharing the same cool-down with the dash skills of Lightning and Wizard masteries.*

  • Socket Stone of Reflection: Physical damage & Magical damage return x% (for chest)
  • Socket Stone of Iron Wall: Phy & Mag damage absorption 99% increase, lasts for x seconds (for chest)

The values of "x" change depending on the Socket Stone level.

*Click here for epvp info about sockets*

*All Socket Stones are tradeable.*

Advanced Elixirs

This guide will provide updates once these changes are implemented.
