  What is macro?

Macro is an extra function offered within Sailor Online, enabling users to automate character actions through our software. It's important to note that the macro feature doesn't deliver a completely hands free gaming experience. Instead, it assists primarily during the leveling phase and later on in grinding for materials and sealed items. Even if you activate the macro, you'll still need to periodically monitor your character to manage inventory rearrangement.

Why aren't 3rd party bot programs allowed?

Newcomers to Sailor Online frequently ask about the game's stance on third-party bot programs, and our response is clear: we are dedicated to preserving the genuine Silkroad experience. Unlike other games where players might resort to using automation tools to progress, we want Sailor Online players to actively engage with the game world. Our goal is to ensure that every player gets to experience the intricacies and challenges of the Silkroad universe firsthand.

In the context of third-party bot programs, these software applications essentially take over all in-game actions on behalf of the user. While this might seem convenient at first glance, it ultimately detracts from the core essence of the game. Players who rely on these bots tend to detach from the gameplay, merely acting as passive observers, which goes against the spirit of Sailor Online.

Furthermore, there's a more profound issue associated with the use of such bots. These programs can be exploited by unscrupulous users to create gold farming bots, which flood the game economy with virtual currency earned through illicit means. This devalues the efforts of genuine players who invest time and energy into earning their rewards and achieving success in the game. It undermines the in-game economy and diminishes the sense of accomplishment that comes with legitimate progression.

In contrast, Sailor Online promotes fairness and a level playing field for all players. We encourage our community to actively participate in the game, overcoming challenges, and reaping the rewards of their hard work. Our anti-bot measures are in place to maintain a healthy, balanced gaming environment, where players can enjoy the true essence of Silkroad without the interference of automated scripts or the adverse effects of bot-driven inflation. We believe that this approach fosters a more enriching and enjoyable gaming experience for everyone in Sailor Online.

What is included in the macro?

  1. Auto Potion: This feature can be utilized at any time, eliminating the need for manual potion usage for your character, fellow pets, and transportation pets. It represents a significant quality-of-life enhancement, streamlining the user-friendly experience for our players.

  2. Auto Skills: This feature is equally valuable as it empowers players to configure their character's skill usage according to their preferences, with or without the need for a mouse click. When it comes to attack skills, a click is still required for activation, while buff skills are automatically triggered when available, without any user intervention.

  3. Auto Hunt: This feature allows players to set their character to grind in specific locations. It comes with a customizable range and incorporates additional functionalities such as auto repair, auto berserk mode, auto resurrection, and the ability to return to town. This comprehensive suite of features ensures that players can tailor their gaming experience to suit their preferences while also simplifying some of the more routine and repetitive tasks in the game.

Incorporating these features into Sailor Online aims to enhance player convenience and adaptability, while also ensuring that players can enjoy the game in a manner that aligns with their unique playstyle. It's important to note that while these features automate certain aspects of gameplay, they are implemented in a balanced way to maintain fairness and the integrity of the gaming environment.

Auto Potion Settings

Click on the icon displayed in the above image to access all of the macro settings.Right-click on the button to turn it on, and then press the options button.

This is an example of a character potion setting. Place your potions from your inventory, making sure to check all of the boxes above. Chinese characters prefer X-Large potions over Grains due to their lower cooldown; Europeans can use grains just fine.

Another self-explanatory panel for pets; you do not need to fill out the hunger section if you have special fellow supplements for your fellow pet.

Auto Skills Settings

This is an example of how attack skills are set up. Make sure to place your character's secondary weapon on the box that is on the last if they use one. The final section of the guide will include more auto skill examples for European classes.

Q: Why are there 8 Immortal Victor (also known as the pain buff in the community) buffs?

A: That's because each column represents a member of the party. Since every column is filled with the same buff, we placed it on every column to ensure that, when auto hunting, the character will randomly apply the buff to a character who does not have it. Check out the image below to learn which column represents which party member if you want to buff those specific people.

As you can see, each column represents a different member. Therefore, in order to properly buff a particular person, you must place your buffs on the corresponding columns.

Just adjust the settings as you see fit, there is no optimal configuration for these.

I'll be providing sample macro settings for European classes. You can use the Chinese settings just like I did in the earlier screenshots.
